Ambulance chasing is prohibited and just a stereotype
Rules of professional responsibilities for attorneys in most jurisdiction bar attorneys soliciting a client for business when the client is injured or otherwise cannot exercise a sound judgment at the time. It also applies to soliciting for legal representation from a family member for a wrongfully dead member of the family. The family members at the time cannot exercise a sound judgment to whether to hire you or not. Hiring an attorney should be based on a rational decision not based on an emotions. It is not only unethical but is a violation of lawyer's ethics code in most states. In California, the law presumes any communications made by an attorney made at the scene of an accident or en route to a medical facility are improper, as are communications to potential clients that you should know are not in the physical and mental state to exercise reasonable judgment.
However, some attorneys still do chose to violate the law and tries soliciting in above situations. You can always report an attorney to your local bar association.

I didn't think that ambulance chasing was legal. How do you go about reporting an attorney that is violating the law? Is there a way to find motorcycle accident attorney that follows the laws?
