I find the area of personal injury practice fiercely competitive in local marketing. Even in smaller cities, personal injury attorneys fill up Yellow Pages and increase the pay per click (Adwords) prices dramatically more than attorneys in other area of practice such as family law. On the other hand, internet SEO marketing seems to be a good idea although it takes too much time and work. Has anyone hired any SEO companies and had any good experience? I am looking for one that does not link spam sites and worthless sites to my law website but with lots of quality links.

Some lawyers work for larger law firms, corporations, companies and government agencies. No matter what firm you are working in, But reputation is much needed for a lawyer. So before I hire a lawyer,I look for references.

Yeah no kidding. Personal injury is where advertising gets full-blown maybe because clients don't rely on referrals as much as other areas of practice. I haven't used any SEO company personally but it seems like scorpion marketing or foster marketing are big out there. I don't know what their rates are or whether they are worth it. I think I'd save money and maybe go to findlaw.com and ask for a bunch of backlinks.
