Redlight camera in Los Angeles no longer enforced
I live in LA and the red light traffic cameras are no longer enforced. I guess the cost of enforcing was way too much and there is really no point since the city was losing money. Anyways, I paid my fine after getting a speeding ticket mailed to my home after the stupid camera ticketed me. I sent my payment to the city and about a week after i found out this red light cameras are no longer enforced. It stopped enforcing camera tickets two weeks before I paid. I wrote a letter requesting my money back since I didn't have to pay legally but did anyway. The court sent me a letter back saying that it's keeping it because I basically admitted my guilt by paying for the ticket. wtf.. seriously??

 Frustrating
That's really frustrating. I'm going to guess you'll never see that money again unless you get an attorney. My friend recently had to use a Los Angeles personal injury attorney for an accident and those red light cameras came in handy for her defense. Depending on your fine, it might not be worth the hassle?!

They will not give you money back. I suggest you should talk with the attorney. He will help you in this .
