SUV could be more dangerous in car accidents
Many people choose to drive SUVs thinking it could keep them safe from car accidents. In most cases, the higher position of the driver seat in SUVs allow less impact on the driver's body during a collision. However, in some cases, SUVs can be deadly for the driver and to other drivers of cars. According to NHTSA, SUVs are four times more likely to rollover than cars. Many SUVs are built with weak rooftops and the frame that supports between the body and the roof. When a SUV with such weak roof and support rolls over, the roof is likely to collapse because it could not sustain the weight of the SUV that is upside down. In many cases, collapsed rooftops during SUV rollover accidents kill the driver and occupants. Many lawsuits have been filed because of the SUV rollover accidents that killed people. So, before buying a SUV, do a research on your particular model's frame strength and for any test results of rollover situations.

Yeah, SUVs certainly have advantages and disadvantages when it comes to safety. I know some people who will only drive SUVs because they don't feel safe in cars. However, usually the non-SUV driver ends up worse off in accidents involving an SUV driver. My Mother was recently involved in one of these and she was in the car. The injuries sustained are significant. Would you recommend I get an Indianapolis injury attorney?

The more heavier car you use, the more damage will occur.

It doeskin matter on what you are traveling, it will be on the situations which are held responsible for accidents, we should keep our driving steady so as to avoid any chance of accidents.
